Natatorium Sound System

Hamilton Southeastern High School

Project Details

Blades AVS recently completed a comprehensive sound system overhaul for the natatorium at Hamilton Southeastern High School, designing an audio solution that cuts through the acoustic demands of a natatorium.

At the core of the system, three Crown CDi4000 amplifiers provide the power needed to drive two JBL CBT1000 column array speakers, each paired with a low end extender for deep, full-range sound coverage across the natatorium. The CBT1000's column array design is particularly well-suited for large, reverberant spaces like aquatic centers, keeping audio focused and intelligible for swimmers, coaches, and spectators. A Soundcraft Ui Digital Mixer ties the system together, giving staff intuitive control over all audio sources from a phone or tablet. For wireless audio streaming, a Tascam RX-BT10 Bluetooth receiver allows staff to stream music or event audio directly from a mobile device with ease. An iPort Connect wireless charging station was also integrated, keeping the control device charged and ready at all times.
