Blades AVS recently completed a TV recording studio installation at Avon Middle School West, giving students a professional-grade production environment to develop real-world broadcasting and media skills.

At the heart of the studio, a Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera paired with a Lumix G Vario 14-140mm lens delivers sharp, cinematic video quality across a variety of shooting scenarios. A Padcaster tripod with a fluid video head and dolly wheels gives students smooth, controlled camera movement. Two 27" monitors provide simultaneous live preview and PC view, allowing students and instructors to keep a close eye on the shot while managing production elements in real time. A Glide Gear teleprompter rounds out the setup, helping students deliver confident, polished on-camera presentations.
