Blades Audio Video Security recently completed a comprehensive audio overhaul for Fishers High School baseball field, delivering a system engineered for rugged outdoor reliability and superior vocal clarity. The goal of the project was to provide a flexible, professional-grade audio solution capable of handling everything from game-day announcements to music playback in an open-air environment.

To cover the field with clear sound, two JBL CBT 70 loudspeakers were installed and powered by a Crown CDi2000 2-channel amplifier. The CBT 70's column array design minimizes environmental interference, keeping audio intelligible for players, coaches, and spectators alike. A Shure SM58S wired microphone was selected for announcements, paired with an XLR Variable Volume pad and laptop interface to give operators precise control over input levels and easy connectivity for digital audio playback. For wireless music streaming, a Tascam RX-BT10 Bluetooth Audio Player allows staff to stream content directly from a phone or tablet without the need for cables. A Middle Atlantic PDX-915R power distribution unit rounds out the system, ensuring clean, reliable power delivery and long-term component protection.
